Co-Secretary General

Inès Habassi is a Franco-Moroccan first-year Master’s student in Economic Law at Sciences Po Paris, with a year of coursework in European and economic law at Leiden Law School. She focuses on European integration and EU competition law, extending this perspective to cross-border insolvency in Europe, where questions of market regulation, fair competition, and corporate restructuring converge. Through academic work and research positions, she has gained experience as a student assistant in the Corporate Law Department of her law school, contributed to publications in the European Common Market Law Review, collaborated with CERIL on insolvency initiatives, written for INSOL Europe’s Eurofenix, and is also a published author in the law review of her home university, writing on questions of legal activism.

Her dissertation, Beyond Access: Social Reproduction and Territorial Inequality in the French Education System, examines how legislative and policy frameworks interact with social structures to shape educational inequality in France.

As Co-Secretary-General of Legal Change for 2025–2026, Inès looks forward to strengthening the association’s role as a platform for dialogue and innovation in law.
