Doa Biddine
Co-president
Doa completed her law degree at Université Paris-Panthéon Assas and earned a certificate in international general studies from the Institut des Hautes Études Internationales. She then pursued a Master’s in Economic Law and Global Governance Studies at Sciences Po Paris. Seeking a more international perspective, she spent a gap year at Stanford Law School and interned at Norton Rose Fulbright, where she focused on Corporate Law in the MENA region.
Doa is deeply committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities in the legal profession. She advocates for the representation of cultural and religious minorities and women, with the goal of inspiring future generations. Her passion for well-being in the legal field led her to join two Policy Labs at Stanford, where she explored mental disability in law and the integration of AI for legal aid. These experiences have shaped her work with LegalChange, advocating for equal access to justice, education and professional opportunities in legal careers.
Doa has continued to explore the intersection of law and technology as a legal engineer at Amurabi, where she focuses on combating dark patterns and promoting AI transparency to ensure that digital user experiences respect individual rights. Additionally, her commitment to education and equality is reflected in her role as a civil law lecturer at Panthéon-Assas, and her implication in the creation of a partnership with "Viens voir mon Taf" to help students secure professional internships.
Her interests extend into climate finance and integrity risk management, which she explored while working as a legal consultant for the World Bank Group’s Integrity Vice Presidency through a legal clinic. Doa’s diverse background and commitment to social justice drive her to continuously seek innovative ways to bridge gaps in the legal profession, both in education and practice.
